Check European terminology on the fly with the new application created by the Terminology Coordination Unit [DG TRAD] of the European Parliament searching in the EU terminology database IATE. This small, lightweight application will allow every user to consult more than 8 million terms in 24 official EU languages, in a fast and user-friendly environment. Results come filtered by reliability and it is also possible to search in a specific subdomain. This project is designed not only for translators, but for journalists and students as well. Thanks to its ease of use, everybody will be able to prompt a search in just few seconds.
